Welcome Speech

The conference formally commenced with an opening address by Professor Xie Shengli, Foreign Member of the Russian Academy of Engineering, recipient of the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars, and IEEE Fellow. Professor Xie first extended a warm welcome and sincere greetings to all attending experts and scholars. He subsequently emphasised the significant value of high-calibre international conferences, noting that they serve not only as premier platforms for researchers and specialists to exchange ideas and share findings, but also as powerful catalysts for advancing disciplinary development and progress. He extended a sincere invitation to all attendees to engage with Guangdong University of Technology, expressing anticipation for deeper collaboration across multiple domains including talent recruitment, project partnerships, scientific innovation, and platform development. Together, they would contribute wisdom and strength to advance the university's disciplines in automation, computing, and intelligent control, jointly forging a more illustrious future.

Keynote Speech

The conference honoured five distinguished scholars from home and abroad as keynote speakers: Professor Zhou Fuling, Dean of the School of Nursing at Wuhan University; Professor Wang Ping; Professor Lu Long, PhD from Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, USA, Postdoctoral Fellow at Yale University, and Director of the Health Big Data Research Centre at Wuhan University; Professor Xie Fengying, Vice Dean of the School of Astronautics at Beihang University; and Associate Professor Bai Jinbing from Emory University. The five experts engaged in in-depth discussions on the development trends and future directions of health big data and intelligent healthcare. Their presentations covered cutting-edge topics including image-based intelligent diagnostic assistance technology, medical artificial intelligence and AI large models, and MRI radiomics, fully demonstrating the academic appeal and industry influence of this field.
